General

Who is eligible to exhibit?
Growers, manufacturers or service companies involved in producing or marketing equipment, products and/or services for the green industry are eligible to exhibit at New England Grows.

How do I become an exhibitor?

What is the cost of a booth?
$1495.00 per 10 x 10 booth

What does a booth include?
• 8' high back drape & 3' high side rail
• 2-line generic booth identification sign
• 3 booth staff registrations
• 3 guest passes
• Up to 500 promotional postcards per company
• Discount on show guide advertising
• Company listing on New England Grows web site
• Three company listings in show guide

What if I need to cancel or downsize my booth?
In the event that a company cancels their exhibit space contracted, they
must do so in writing and will be obligated to pay New England Grows a
cancellation fee of 50% of their total booth fee on or before November 15,
2009. No refunds will be issued after November 15, 2009.

Can I hang a sign?
Yes, you may hang a sign over your booth location. You must order rigging service through the convention center.

Can I sell merchandise from my booth?
Exhibitors may sell merchandise from their booths, under the following conditions:

Exhibitor shall be responsible for obtaining any licenses, permits, or approvals under local or state law applicable to their sales activity at New England Grows and must present documents upon request. Exhibitor shall be responsible for obtaining any tax identification numbers and paying all taxes, license fees or other charges that shall become due to any governmental authority in connection with their activities at New England Grows.

Any merchandise sold during the show must be cash & carry only. Cash & carry merchandise is defined as any item that can be easily carried by hand from the building through a main, pedestrian exit. All sold merchandise must be accompanied by the exhibitor’s official sales receipt that will be furnished to Security Personnel or Show Management, upon request.

For the benefit of all New England Grows participants, exhibit booth displays and their content must remain fully intact and may not be sold for delivery until the official close of the exposition on Friday at 3:00 p.m. Booth Content Sales Agreements and Materials Donation forms must be completed prior to the close of the exposition. These forms are available at Exhibitor Headquarters.

What is Exhibitor Headquarters and where can I find it?
Exhibitor Headquarters is located in the East Lobby just outside Exhibit Hall B. This is where questions may be answered regarding booth sales, move-in/move-out, furnishings, carpet, shipping, crate storage, electricity, water, etc.

Registration

How do I register my booth personnel?
Just click REGISTER, select your company's name in the drop down menu, and enter your password. If you do not have your registration password, please contact us at info@NewEnglandGrows.org or call 508-653-3009.

Once I've used all my complimentary booth personnel registrations, how do I order additional badges?
Additional booth staff badges may be purchased at a cost of $25.00 each. Log into your exhibitor registration page and select the link to purchase additional booth staff badges.

What is the difference between an Exhibitor badge and a Guest pass?
Guest passes allow access to the exposition floor on show days and during published show times only.

Will I receive confirmation?
Confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address you provide.

Hotel & Travel

Where can I stay? What are the rates? What is the discount deadline for a room? Is there any penalty for canceling a reservation? Will shuttle service be provided during the show? Where can I park?

Do you offer overnight truck parking?
There is an open air lot located at 391Congress Street that can accommodate large vehicles overnight. Please contact Peter Furtado at 781.443.3770 or via email at pfurtado@lazparking.com to make arrangements. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. New England Grows is not responsible for vehicles left in any overnight parking lots.

Is there food available during move-in and move-out?
