Dennis is a professional horticulturist whose design accomplishments range from small penthouse gardens to large-scale commercial and estate landscapes. He and partner Bill Smith operate Landcraft Environments, Ltd., a wholesale greenhouse operation specializing in unusual annuals, tender perennials and tropicals. Dennis has appeared in national and international television programs and is a frequent guest on Martha Stewart Living. He has written numerous articles on gardening for national magazines and is a contributing Editor to Garden Design. Dennis has also written two books: Hot Plants for Cool Climates and Extraordinary Leaves.
