Frank Rossi, Ph.D. is the New York Extension Turfgrass Specialist and Associate Professor of Turfgrass Science at Cornell University. An international expert in golf, sports, and lawn turf management, Frank has published hundreds of articles and traveled around the world lecturing on environmentally responsible turfgrass management. He has served as lead turf consultant for the New York Yankees, Green Bay Packers, Lincoln Center for Performing Arts, the Randall’s Island Sports Foundation, and for the 2002 and 2009 US Open Golf Championships. In addition to his 30+ year career in turf, Frank is married and the father of three children, a triathlete, and an alpaca farmer, among other things.
